Programming the Auto Lock Feature Using the Keyless Entry Keypad

NOTE: The auto lock feature is not available on vehicles equipped with a manual transaxle.
NOTE: The auto lock feature can be enabled or disabled independently of the auto-unlock feature.
NOTE: Make sure that the vehicle's perimeter alarm is not armed, the key is in the OFF position and the doors are closed.
NOTE: The following steps must be carried out within 30 seconds or the procedure will need to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, wait 30 seconds between programming sessions.
  1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
  2. Close all of the doors.
  3. Enter the factory set 5 digit entry code.
  4. Press and hold the 3/4 button. While holding the 3/4 button, press the 7/8 button.
  5. Release the 7/8 button.
  6. Release the 3/4 button. The horn chirps once if the auto locks are disabled, or chirps once followed by a honk if the auto locks are enabled.
