P1617 - Interactive Reprogramming Code - Block Program Error

P1617 - INTERACTIVE REPROGRAMMING CODE - BLOCK PROGRAM ERROR

Description:  This DTC indicates an internal powertrain control module (PCM) error has been detected.
Possible Causes: 
  • PCM flashing error
Diagnostic Aids:  Using a scan tool, program the PCM to the most recent calibration available.
Application    Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All   Flash the PCM/transmission control module (TCM)/fuel injector control module (FICM). Refer to FLASH ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ ONLY MEMORY (EEPROM) .
