Exterior Lighting: Notes

NOTE: If equipped with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE), the perimeter lighting feature can be enabled or disabled. When enabled, the exterior lamps are illuminated when the UNLOCK button is pressed on the RKE transmitter. Refer to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS article for programming and diagnostics.

NOTE: The Smart Junction Box (SJB) is also known as the Generic Electronic Module (GEM).

NOTE: Cutaway and stripped chassis vehicles are supplied circuitry and connectors to support exterior lighting components.
