| CAN (+) short to ground | No communication |
| CAN (-) short to ground | Unreliable communication to all network modules |
| CAN (+) open | Unreliable communication to all network modules |
| CAN (-) open | Unreliable communication to all network modules |
| Module loss of voltage or ground | No communication |
| Module internal failure | No communication |
