Navigation System
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Lincoln MKX and 2007 Ford Edge. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The navigation system audibly and visually guides the user to a selected destination. The system uses a global positioning system (GPS) antenna, a vehicle speed input, and other sensor information to accurately establish the vehicle position. The audio unit provides the visual and audible instructions of the maneuvers required to arrive at the pre-entered destination.
The only external component of the navigation system is the GPS antenna, located in the instrument panel.
