Transmission Control (TC) Switch

The transmission control (TC) switch:

is located on the end of the selector lever.
- The TC switch is not removable from the selector lever. Install a new selector lever if a new TC switch is required.
is a momentary contact switch.
commands the PCM to disengage or engage the overdrive function of the transmission.
- When Overdrive (Circle D) is disengaged, the message O/D OFF will illuminate on the instrument cluster (IC).
