Spring Lock Couplings: Connect

Clean and inspect the fuel tube and spring lock coupling.
- Lubricate the end of the fuel tube with clean engine oil.
Install the spring lock coupling onto the fuel tube until fully seated.

Pull on the spring lock coupling to make sure it is correctly locked onto the fuel tube.
Install the safety clip onto the spring lock coupling.

Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
