NOTE:
This DTC usually accompanies Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) DTCs in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). If the vehicle is not equipped with PATS
, this PCM DTC can indicate the parameters in the IPC
and the PCM need to be reset or a power or ground issue with the PCM. This PCM DTC can set in vehicles with or without PATS
. Clear the DTCs. Repeat the self-test. If there are any PATS
DTCs present in the IPC
, ADDRESS them first. This DTC can also indicate a Controller Area Network (CAN) or a parameter reset concern. Make sure to verify if there are any communication concerns/DTCs with any modules. REFER to

article. If DTC P1260 is the only DTC present, there may be a parameter reset concern or a power or ground concern with the PCM. Even if the vehicle does not have PATS

| P1622 | Immobilizer ID Does Not Match | CARRY OUT a parameter reset. REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET . CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition 3-5 times, making an attempt to start the vehicle each key cycle. REPEAT the self-test. |
