Removal And Installation

NOTE:
The right side lower instrument panel cover has been removed for clarity. The Steering Effort Control Module (SECM) is located on a bracket behind the carpet between the firewall and right side kick panel.

- Position the carpet aside.
- Disconnect the 2 Steering Effort Control Module (SECM) electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 nuts and the SECM.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
