Removal and Installation
NOTE:
When installing a new stability control sensor cluster, the sensor cluster must be calibrated. Follow the scan tool directions for the calibration procedures.
- Remove the rear seat. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
- Remove the right rear scuff plate. For additional information, refer to
INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION
.
- Position the carpet aside.
- Disconnect the stability control sensor cluster electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 stability control sensor cluster nuts and the stability control sensor cluster.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Carry out the IVD Initialization sequence. Follow the scan tool directions.
NOTE:
The sensor is located on the RH side of the vehicle, under the rear seat.
