Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Removal

NOTE: PCM installation DOES NOT require new keys or programming of keys, only a Parameter Reset of the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS).
Retrieve the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration retrieval steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe and the ACL assembly. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Disconnect the 3 PCM electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the PCM.
