Normal Operation

The PCM sends a signal through circuit 151 (LB/BK) to the speed control switches, which passes through the clockspring. The return signal is sent through circuit 848 (DG/OG) and the clockspring.

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
P0565 - Cruise Control ON Signal A continuous DTC that may set when the speed control ON switch is stuck.
P0566 - Cruise Control OFF Signal A continuous DTC that may set when the speed control OFF switch is stuck.
P0567 - Cruise Control RESUME Signal A continuous DTC that may set when the speed control RESUME switch is stuck.
P0568 - Cruise Control SET signal A continuous DTC that may set when the speed control SET switch is stuck.
P0569 - Cruise Control COAST Signal A continuous DTC that may set when the speed control COAST switch is stuck.
P0578 - Cruise Control Multifunction Input A Circuit Stuck An on-demand DTC that may set when the speed control switch circuits are open.
P0579 - Cruise Control Multifunction Input A Circuit Range/Performance An on-demand DTC that may set when the speed control switch circuits are open, shorted to voltage or ground.
P0581 - Cruise Control Multifunction Circuit High A continuous and on-demand DTC that sets when the speed control switch circuits are shorted to voltage or open.
