Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
NOTE:
Prior to the removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the appropriate scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION

- Upload the module configuration information from the DDM
into the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION
.NOTE: This step is necessary only if the Driver Door Module (DDM) is being replaced.
- Remove the driver door trim panel. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors and remove the DDM .
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the DDM
configuration from the scan tool into the new DDM
