Pinpoint Test
- INSPECT THE Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) BRACKET
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to LIFTING POINTS .
- Inspect the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) bracket for damage.
- Is the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) bracket damaged?
- Yes: REPAIR or REPLACE the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) bracket as necessary. REFER to CRUISE CONTROL MODULE (C-CM) .
- No: GO to 2 on page 2.
- CARRY OUT THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT
- Carry out the alignment procedures for the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM). REFER to CRUISE CONTROL MODULE (C-CM) (WITH SENSOR) ADJUSTMENT .
- Does the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) align correctly?
- Yes: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern was caused by a misaligned sensor.
- No: INSTALL a new Cruise-Control Module (C-CM). REFER to CRUISE CONTROL MODULE (C-CM) .
NOTE: Remove the front bumper cover to carry-out the vertical alignment procedure. - Carry out the alignment procedures for the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM). REFER to CRUISE CONTROL MODULE (C-CM) (WITH SENSOR) ADJUSTMENT .
