    1. Using a scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM).
    2. Operate the system and check for normal operation.
    3. Using a scan tool, perform the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) self-test.
      • Is Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U3000:66 recorded?
      1. Yes:  If other Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present follow those Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) first.

Otherwise, GO to on page 2.

      2. No:  The system is operating correctly at this time. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may have been set due to an intermittent fault condition.
  2. CHECK FOR Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) AND Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
    1. Using a scan tool, perform the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module self-test and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) self-test.
      • Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
      1. Yes:  For Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), REFER to DTC CHART: ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE .

For Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), REFER to DTC CHART: POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) .

      2. No:  GO to on page 2.
  3. CHECK FOR CORRECT Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) OPERATION
    1. Disconnect and inspect the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) connector.
    2. Repair:
      • corrosion (install new connector or terminals - clean module pins)
      • damaged pins - install new terminals/pins
      • pushed-out pins - install new pins as necessary
    3. Reconnect the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) connector. Make sure it seats and latches correctly.
