Power Steering Control Module (PSCM)

The Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) is the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) system. The module monitors all sensor inputs and High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) messages that relate to the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) system and directly controls the output of the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) motor. If a new Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) is installed, the module must be programmed with the correct vehicle information. REFER to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) .
