Proper Operation Requirements

Three requirements for the selector lever to be moved from the PARK position are:

• Ignition switch in the RUN/START position
• Transmission Range (TR) sensor in the PARK position
• Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch closed (brakes applied - brake lamps on)
