Removal and Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty and 2013 Ford F-250 Super Duty. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

All vehicles 

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Disconnect the Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) electrical connector.

    Pickup and Chassis Cab with Midship Fuel Tank 

  3. NOTE: Do not overtighten the fasteners or damage to the module may occur.

    Remove the 2 nuts, stud plate and the FPCM.

    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

    Chassis Cab with Aft of Axle Fuel Tank 

  4. NOTE: Do not overtighten the fasteners or damage to the module may occur.

    Remove the 2 bolts and the FPCM.

    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

    All vehicles 

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
