Removal and Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2012 Ford Fiesta. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new ACM is being installed.
  1. Upload the ACM configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  2. Remove the instrument panel upper finish panel. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
  3. Remove the 4 Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) finish panel screws and rotate upwards from the bottom to release the 3 clips. Remove the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) finish panel.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

  4. Remove the ACM.
    • Disconnect the ACM electrical connectors.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  6. Download the configuration information to the ACM. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
