Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the lower instrument panel finish panel. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
  2. Remove the floor console finish panel for access to the ambient lighting module. For additional information, refer to the floor console exploded view in INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
    • Lift upward on the rear of the floor console finish panel to release the floor console finish panel clips.
    • If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Slide the park brake lever boot and the floor console finish panel over the park brake lever.
  3. Remove the ambient lighting module.
    • Remove the 2 screws.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
