Seat Control Switch - Front: Installation

Align the seat control switch to the cushion side shield and push in, engaging the retainers.
Install the seat control switch knob(s) onto the switch.
Connect the seat control switch electrical connector and attach the wire harness pin-type retainer to the cushion frame.
Attach the cushion side shield in the following sequence.
1. Return all retaining clips back to the cushion side shield before attaching to the seat.
2. Align the 4 cushion side shield clips to the seat and push in seating the clips.
3. Install the screw at the front of the cushion side shield.
4. Install the screw at the rear of the cushion side shield.
5. Install the scrivet at the rear of the cushion side shield.
For passenger seat, insert the flap back.
Install the safety belt anchor bolt.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- For passenger seat, connect the BTS electrical connector.
Install the cushion side shield cover.
If equipped, install the manual lumbar knob in the following sequence.
1. Install the clip onto the manual knob handle.
2. Align the splines of the manual lumbar knob to the manual lumbar shaft.
3. Push the manual lumbar handle onto the manual lumbar shaft, seating the clip.
If equipped, install the manual recliner handle in the following sequence.
1. Install the clip onto the manual recliner handle.
2. Align the splines of the manual recliner handle to the manual recliner shaft.
3. Push the manual recliner handle onto the manual recliner shaft, seating the clip.
For passenger seat, carry out the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) System Reset. For additional information, refer to the General Procedures portion of SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.
