Removal and Installation

- Upload the audio DSP module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION SYSTEM article.
- Remove the RH quarter trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
- Disconnect the audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module electrical connectors.
- Remove the 3 screws and the audio DSP module.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the configuration information from the scan tool. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION SYSTEM article.
NOTE:
Module configuration is required when a new audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module is being installed.
