Removal and Installation

    NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module is being installed.
  1. Upload the audio DSP module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION SYSTEM article.
  2. Remove the RH quarter trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
  3. Disconnect the audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the 3 screws and the audio DSP module.
    • To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Download the configuration information from the scan tool. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION SYSTEM article.
