DTC P07AE: Transmission Friction Element G Performance/Stuck Off: Description

The PSCM monitors the amount of force needed to assist with vehicle steering when the ignition is ON and the voltage supply to the PSCM is above 9 volts, all other EPAS sensors are working correctly and the EPAS gear is providing assist.

• DTC P07AE:09 (Transmission Friction Element G Performance/Stuck Off: Component Failure) - If the amount of friction in the steering system exceeds the allowable threshold, DTC P07AE:09 sets. Low air pressure in the tires, seized or restricted movement in the outer tie rod ends or suspension ball joints could cause DTC P07AE:09 to set.
