Diagnostic Aids

The PSCM will use the motor inside the EPAS gear to calculate the angle and rotation of the steering wheel and then transmit this information to other modules over the HS-CAN bus. When one or both of these DTCs set the PSCM will remove steering assist. The module sends a message to the instrument panel cluster (IPC) to display POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT in the message center.
