TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL (TBC) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST

DTC	Description	Action
B1317	Battery Voltage High	Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
B1318	Battery Voltage Low	Go to PINPOINT TEST B .
B1342	Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is Faulted	REPAIR all other DTCs. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new TBC module. Refer to TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL (TBC) MODULE in this information.
B1863	TBC Ground Open Circuit	Go to PINPOINT TEST A .
C279A	Invalid Brake Pressure Transducer Pressure Input Received	On vehicles equipped with both a TorqShift transmission and Roll Stability Control (RSC®), the TBC receives brake fluid pressure information from 2 sources, the PCM and the ABS module, over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) bus. If the TBC module does not receive brake fluid pressure input from either of the 2 sources, the module will test the bus for 8 seconds looking for brake fluid pressure input. If pressure input cannot be found, DTC C279A will be set. Refer to DTC U0401 and U0416 found in DTC Charts for the appropriate diagnostic action to take.
C2806	Trailer Brakes Wiring Circuit Short to Voltage	Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
C2807	Trailer Brakes Wiring Circuit Short to Ground	Go to PINPOINT TEST C .
U0115	Lost Communication With ECM /PCM	Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the lost communication with the ECM /PCM.
U0121	Lost Communication With ABS Control Module	Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the lost communication with the ABS module.
U0155	Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module	Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the lost communication with the IPC control module.
U0401	Invalid Data Received from ECM/PCM	RETRIEVE and FOLLOW PCM DTCs. For DTC P1561, refer to the PCM DTC CHART in this information. For all other PCM DTCs, refer to the INTRODUCTION .
U0416	Invalid Data Received From Vehicle Dynamics Control Module	RETRIEVE and FOLLOW ABS module DTCs. Refer to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM - VEHICLE DYNAMIC SYSTEM .
U2202	Invalid Configuration Data Received	VERIFY Instrument Cluster (IC) configuration using as-built data. Refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION . CONFIGURE or INSTALL a new IC as necessary.
