Planetary Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Inspect the planet internal bearing for damage.

  2. Remove the snap ring.

  3. Remove the rear planet assembly.

  4. Remove the thrust bearing.

  5. Remove the forward planet sun gear.

  6. Remove the thrust bearing.

  7. Remove the forward planet assembly.

  8. Inspect the low and reverse ring gear.

  9. Remove the top retainer of the One-Way Clutch (OWC).

  10. Remove the top OWC  ring.

  11. Remove the low OWC  assembly.
