Telematics Module: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Position the telematics module and install the 2 screws.
    • Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
  3. Initialize the telematics module.
    1. Wait 5 minutes after the modem-antenna is installed.
    2. Turn the ignition to RUN.
    3. Wait 10 seconds.
    4. Start the vehicle and run the engine for 30 seconds.
    5. Turn the ignition to OFF.
