SYMPTOM CHART - THREE-CHANNEL

Condition	Possible Sources	Action
No communication with the ABS module	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors ABS module concern	REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
The red brake warning indicator is always/never on	Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) concern ABS module concern	RETRIEVE all DTCs and REFER to the ABS Module DTC Chart - Three-Channel . If no DTCs are present, REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
The yellow ABS warning indicator is always/never on	IPC concern ABS module concern	RETRIEVE all DTCs and REFER to the ABS Module DTC Chart - Three-Channel . If no DTCs are present, REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
The stability/traction control indicator "sliding-car icon" is never/always on	IPC concern ABS module concern	RETRIEVE all DTCs and REFER to the ABS Module DTC Chart - Three-Channel . If no DTCs are present, REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
ABS false activation, ABS too sensitive, ABS activates on normal stop	Front/rear suspension concern	ELIMINATE the front/rear suspension as the cause of the problem. REFER to FRONT SUSPENSION - REAR WHEEL DRIVE (RWD) , FRONT SUSPENSION - FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) (front suspension) or REAR SUSPENSION (rear suspension).
	Parking brake shoes out of adjustment (dragging)	CHECK and if necessary, ADJUST the parking brake shoes. REFER to PARKING BRAKE AND ACTUATION .
The traction control system cannot be disabled/enabled	Wiring, terminals or connectors Traction control switch ABS concern IPC	NOTE: If a MyKey® restricted key is in use with the AdvanceTrac® always-on feature configured to "on", the traction control system cannot be disabled. An admin key must be used in order to enable and disable the traction control system. GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
