Body Control Module (BCM): Installation
- Position the BCM and install the 2 nuts.
- Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).
- Connect the 7 electrical connectors.
- Install the RH dash closeout panel.
- Download the BCM configuration information from the scan tool to the BCM. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Carry out the BCM self-test to confirm all DTCs have been cleared.
- For vehicles without IA, program all the RKE transmitters into the new BCM. For additional information, refer to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS .
NOTE:
If the BCM is not being replaced, this is the last step that is necessary.
