| P0555 | Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Circuit | This DTC sets if the information in the brake booster vacuum sensor message represents an electrically in-range sensor reading, but it is extremely out of practical limits with respect to the engine manifold vacuum. Examination and diagnosis of the vacuum harness should be performed. Using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the ABS module self-test. DIAGNOSE any ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). If there are no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present in the ABS module, INSPECT the vacuum hoses and connections for leaks and obvious signs of damage. CARRY OUT the Intake Manifold Vacuum Test. | P0556 | Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Circuit Range / Performance | If PCM DTC P103C, P103D or P103E are present, DIAGNOSE that DTC before diagnosing P0556. This DTC sets if the information in the brake booster vacuum sensor message represents an electrically in-range sensor reading, but it is falls short of expectations due to a moderate leak in the vacuum harness, a plug in the aspiration path, or an internal failure of the valve-aspirator. Using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the ABS module self-test. DIAGNOSE any ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). If there are no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present in the ABS module, INSPECT the vacuum hoses and connections for leaks and obvious signs of damage. CARRY OUT the Intake Manifold Vacuum Test.
