Front Bumper: Disassembly

All vehicles
- 1.
Remove the front bumper. Refer to: Front Bumper .
- 2.
Remove the front bumper upper trim plate.- 1.
Drill out the rivets.
- 2.
Remove the pin-type retainers.
- 1.
- 4.
Remove the CCM bracket.- 1.
Remove the CCM bracket bolts.Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- 2.
Remove the CCM bracket scrivet.
- 1.
- 5.NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the fog lamp bolts, push pins and the fog lamp assembly.
Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)
- 6.NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the bolts and the front bumper outer bracket.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
Vehicles with tow hooks
All vehicles
- 10.NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the front bumper cover.
- 1.
Remove the front bumper cover bolts.Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
- 2.
Remove the front bumper cover scrivet.
- 3.
Release the spring type retainers.
