Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Possible Causes

Communication network concern
Dirty, scratched or obstructed windshield and/or camera
IPMA overheating condition
Lane keeping system switch (integral to the LH steering column multifunction switch)
IPMA concern
PSCM concern
SCCM concern
BCM concern
PCM concern
RCM concern
IPC concern
CCM concern

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks

Certain lane keeping system concerns can be caused by the IPMA being to cold or overheating due to heavy sunload. Prior to diagnosing a lane keeping system concern, allow the vehicle to warm up or remove the vehicle from direct sunlight. RECHECK after 10 minutes.
