Trailer Module (TRM): Removal

NOTE:
This step is only necessary if the TRM is being replaced.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the TRM following the on-screen instructions.

Pull outward on the steering column opening cover detaching the 7 clips and allow the cover to hinge downward.
- 5.
Remove the 4 bolts and the steering column opening trim panel and reinforcement.Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

Remove the TRM.- 1.
Disconnect the TRM electrical connectors.

Remove the bolts.Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
