The courtesy lamps flash on and off	The Body Control Module (BCM) is not configured correctly	CARRY OUT the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) for the BCM. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION SYSTEM . TEST the system for normal operation.
The courtesy lamps do not illuminate with a door open	Wiring, terminals or connectors Door ajar switch BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
The courtesy lamps do not illuminate from the instrument panel dimmer switch	Wiring, terminals or connectors Instrument panel dimmer switch Steering Column Control Module (SCCM)	GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
One or more interior courtesy lamp is inoperative	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors Interior lamp BCM	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
One or more puddle lamp is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors Puddle lamp Exterior mirror	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
The cargo lamp is inoperative	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors High mounted stoplamp BCM	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
All the courtesy lamps stay on continuously	Wiring, terminals or connectors Door ajar switch BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
The interior courtesy lamps stay on continuously	Wiring, terminals or connectors BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST G .
The cargo lamp/puddle lamps stay on continuously	Wiring, terminals or connectors BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
One or more demand lamp is inoperative	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors Sun visor Interior lamp BCM	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST I .
The battery saver does not deactivate after time-out	Wiring, terminals or connectors BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST J .
An individual ambient lighting LED is inoperative/does not cycle through all color combinations	Ambient lighting harness	NOTE: The LEDs are not serviceable separate from the harness. REPAIR or INSTALL a new ambient lighting harness in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
The ambient lighting is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors HVAC module	GO to PINPOINT TEST K .
The ambient lighting does not cycle through all color combinations	Wiring, terminals or connectors HVAC module	GO to PINPOINT TEST L .
