DTC C1B00: Steering Angle Sensor: Description

While the ignition is ON and the voltage supply to the PSCM is above 6.5 volts, the module monitors the motor inside the EPAS gear to calculate the relative and actual steering wheel angle. This value is transmitted to other modules over the high-speed controller area network (HS-CAN) bus.

• DTC C1B00:2F (Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Erratic) - This DTC sets if the steering angle sensor signal is calculated to be outside the expected range. This DTC will be set if an over travel concern is detected within the steering gear.
• DTC C1B00:62 (Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Compare Failure) - This DTC sets if the calculated signal does not match other sensor inputs.
