Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

With the ignition ON, the SECM monitors various inputs to determine if the motor is operating correctly.
SECM DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS

| C100B:62 | Motor Drive Current: Signal Compare Failure | Sets when the SECM detects the electrical current required to drive the adaptive steering motor does not match what is expected. This DTC setting multiple times is a trigger condition for DTC U3000:96. |
| C100C:63 | Steering Tracking: Circuit/Component Protection Time- Out | Sets when the SECM detects the steering angle offset (clear vision) is too great for the SECM detects the to compensate. |
| U3000:68 | Control Module: Event Information | Sets when the SECM detects an internal fault. |
| U3000:98 | Control Module: Component or System Over Temperature | Sets when the SECM detects an internal fault. |
