Valve Spring Strength

Special Tools

	Pressure Gauge, Valve/Clutch Spring	303-006 (TOOL-6513-DD) or equivalent

Use a Valve/Clutch Spring Pressure Gauge to check the valve spring for correct strength at the specified valve spring length.
- For additional information, refer to the specification chart in the appropriate engine procedure.
- If out of specification, install new components as necessary. Refer to ENGINE - 2.3L , ENGINE - 3.0L (2V) or ENGINE - 4.0L SINGLE OVERHEAD CAMSHAFT (SOHC) for the procedure.
