The yellow ABS warning indicator is never on	Wiring, terminals or connectors Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)	REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
The stability/traction control indicator (sliding car icon) is never on	Stability/traction control system ABS module IPC	REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
Only the red brake warning indicator is always/never on	Wiring, terminals or connectors Parking brake switch Brake fluid level switch Body Control Module (BCM) IPC	REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
The yellow ABS warning indicator is always on	DTCs in the ABS module ABS module IPC	RETRIEVE and RECORD any ABS module DTCs. GO to the ABS Module DTC Chart . If there are no DTCs present in the ABS module, REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
The sliding car icon is always on	DTCs in the ABS module Stability/traction control system IPC	RETRIEVE and RECORD any ABS module DTCs. GO to the ABS Module DTC Chart . If there are no DTCs present in the ABS module, REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
All 3 indicators (red brake warning light, yellow ABS warning indicator and the sliding car icon) are always on	DTCs in the ABS module Wiring, terminals or connectors Parking brake switch Brake fluid level switch Stability/traction control system BCM ABS module IPC	RETRIEVE and RECORD any ABS module DTCs. GO to the ABS Module DTC Chart . If there are no DTCs present in the ABS module, REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
Spongy brake pedal with no warning indicator	Air in the brake hydraulic system	BLEED the brake system and the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). REFER to Brake System Bleeding in BRAKE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION .
	Damaged or incorrectly installed brake components	INSPECT the brake pedal, brake booster and master cylinder for correct installation. REFER to HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION for the brake pedal and master cylinder or POWER BRAKE ACTUATION for the brake booster. CORRECT the installation or INSTALL new as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation.
Poor vehicle tracking during anti-lock function	Air in the hydraulic brake system Low tire pressure HCU	GO to Pinpoint Test S .
	Base brake system concern	REFER to BRAKE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION .
The stability/traction control system is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors Stability/traction control switch ABS module IPC	GO to Pinpoint Test R .
The stability/traction control system cannot be disabled	If a MyKey® restricted key is in use with the AdvanceTrac® always on feature configured to on, the traction control system cannot be disabled. An admin key must be used in order to enable and disable the traction control system Wiring, terminals or connectors Stability/traction control switch IPC	GO to Pinpoint Test R .
The Hill Descent Control™ system (if equipped) is inoperative	ABS module DTCs present Hill Descent Control™ switch Wiring, terminals or connectors	CARRY OUT a ABS module self-test. GO to Pinpoint Test J .
