Fuel Volume Control Valve, Fuel Temperature Sensor and Fuel Pressure Switch

NOTE: The upper and lower intake manifolds must be removed to access the fuel volume control valve. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 6.7L DIESEL .
NOTE: Clean the sealing surface of the fuel temperature sensor fitting prior to installation of the fuel temperature sensor.
NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seal(s) with clean engine oil prior to installation.
NOTE: Tighten the fuel volume control valve bolts alternately in 2 stages:
  • Stage 1: Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in)
  • Stage 2: Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in)
