Front Bumper: Disassembly

All vehicles 

1. Remove the front bumper. Refer to: Front Bumper .
2. Remove the front bumper upper trim plate.
   1. Drill out the rivets.
   2. Remove the pin-type retainers.

3. NOTE: On both sides.

   Remove the bolts and the front bumper brackets.

   Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

4. Remove the CCM bracket.
   1. Remove the CCM bracket bolts.

      Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)

   2. Remove the CCM bracket scrivet.

5. NOTE: On both sides.

   Remove the fog lamp bolts, push pins and the fog lamp assembly.

   Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

6. NOTE: On both sides.

   Remove the bolts and the front bumper outer bracket.

   Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

7. Remove the bolts and the front bumper air deflector.

   Vehicles with tow hooks 

8. NOTE: On both sides.

   Remove the front valence screws.

   Torque: 10 lb.in (1.1 Nm)

   All vehicles 

9. Remove the nuts and the front bumper valence.

   Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

10. NOTE: On both sides.

    Remove the front bumper cover.

    1. Remove the front bumper cover bolts.

       Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

    2. Remove the front bumper cover scrivet.
    3. Release the spring type retainers.
