Front Bumper: Disassembly

Disassembly steps in this procedure may contain assembly details.
All vehicles
- Remove the front bumper. Refer to: Front Bumper .
- Remove the front bumper upper trim plate.
- Drill out the rivets.
- Remove the pin-type retainers.

NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the bolts and the front bumper brackets.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the CCM bracket.
- Remove the CCM bracket bolts.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- Remove the CCM bracket scrivet.
- Remove the CCM bracket bolts.

NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the fog lamp bolts, push pins and the fog lamp assembly.
Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the bolts and the front bumper outer bracket.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the bolts and the front bumper air deflector.
Vehicles with tow hooks

NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the front valence screws.
Torque: 10 lb.in (1.1 Nm)
All vehicles
- Remove the nuts and the front bumper valence.
Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the front bumper cover.
- Remove the front bumper cover bolts.
Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
- Remove the front bumper cover scrivet.
- Release the spring type retainers.
- Remove the front bumper cover bolts.
