Seat Cushion Second Row, 60 Percent: Disassembly

  1. 1.

    Remove the 60 percent rear seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Second Row  in this service information.

  1. 2.

    Remove the 60 percent backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Second Row, 60 Percent  in this service information.

  1. 3.

    Remove the inboard recliner Right Hand (RH) cover.

  1. 4.

    Remove the pin-type retainer and screw from the inboard recliner Left Hand (LH) cover. Remove the inboard recliner LH cover.

  1. 5.

    Remove the manual recline handle.

    1. 1.

      Locate the spring clip between the recline cover and handle.

    1. 2.

      Remove the spring clip and slide the manual recline handle off the shaft.

  1. 6.

    Pull to release the retainers and remove the outboard recliner outer cover.
    • Pull the strap through the cover.

  1. 7.

    Remove the bolt and the center occupant safety belt buckle.

  1. 8.

    Remove the hinge assembly-to-cushion frame bolts and the hinge assembly.

  1. 9.

    NOTE: Note cable routing for installation.

    Remove the outboard recliner.

      Remove the 3 recliner cover screws.

    1. 2.

      Detach the outboard cable from the outboard recliner.

    1. 3.

      Remove the outboard recliner-to-cushion frame bolts.

    1. 4.

      Detach the inboard cable from the outboard recliner. Remove the outboard recliner.

  1. 10.

    Detach the LH cable from the inboard recliner.

  1. 11.

    Remove the 3 inboard recliner-to-riser bolts, the inboard recliner-to-cushion frame yoke bolt and the inboard recliner.

  1. 12.

    Remove the cushion frame yoke-to-riser bolt, cushion frame-to-riser bolt, 3 cushion frame-to-riser nuts and remove the riser.

  1. 13.

    Remove the screw and the stationary foot cover

  1. 14.

    Remove the 2 screws from the riser LH inner cover and remove the cover.

  1. 15.

    Remove the 3 screws from the riser LH outer cover and remove the cover.

  1. 16.

    Remove the 2 screws from the riser RH inner cover and remove the cover.

  1. 17.

    Remove the 3 screws from the riser RH outer cover and remove the cover.
