Compass Module (If Equipped)

The vehicle is equipped with a compass module if an auto-dimming interior rear view mirror is not used.
The compass module communicates the vehicle direction to the BCM through a LIN circuit. The data is then sent over the MS-CAN to the FDIM , where it is displayed. The BCM is only a gateway for the compass information and does not control the compass display
