System Operation: Manual

In manual position:
- the transmission provides maximum engine braking.
- gears 1 through 6 (6R80) or 1 through 10 (10R80) are available.
- the driver can manually shift the transmission to gears 1 through 6 (6R80) or 1 through 10 (10R80) using the SelectShift™ switch located on the selector lever.
- if equipped, the driver can manually shift the transmission to gears 1 through 10 (10R80 only) using the SelectShift™ paddle switches mounted on the steering wheel.
- grade assist is activated.
- the transmission will select gears that will provide the engine braking desired, based on the vehicle inputs, which will increase engine RPM during engine braking.

Manual 2 provides:
- automatic shifts from 1st gear and holds the transmission in 2nd gear.

Manual 1:
- holds the transmission in 1st gear.
