DTC P0130: O2 Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 1)

P0130 - O2 CIRCUIT (BANK 1, SENSOR 1)

Description: This DTC sets when the PCM detects a concern with one of the circuits used to determine the oxygen content in the exhaust gas.
Possible Causes: UO2S circuit open (if equipped) UO2SGREF circuit open (if equipped) UO2S circuit short to voltage or ground (if equipped) UO2SGREF circuit short to voltage or ground (if equipped) UO2SPC circuit short to voltage or ground (if equipped) UO2SPCT circuit short to voltage or ground (if equipped) HO2S circuit open (if equipped) SIGRTN circuit open (if equipped) Incorrect connections Damaged or corroded terminals Exhaust temperature significantly higher than expected Damaged HO2S Damaged universal HO2S
Diagnostic Aids: Inspect the connectors for signs of damage, water ingress, or corrosion.
