DTC U053B:00 indicates a concern with the lane information sent from the IPMA. The module that reports this DTC is not the problem module. Do not install a new PSCM as part of the repair for PSCM U053B:00.

The presence of DTC U053B:00 will prevent the lane keep assist system from activating. If set during an lane keep assist event, the event is terminated and the lane keep assist system is deactivated.
