Powertrain/Drivetrain Mount Neutralizing
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .

NOTE: 2.5L shown, other engines similar.
Loosen, but do not remove, the 2 engine mount bolts.
- Loosen, but do not remove, the 2 roll restrictor bolts.

NOTE: Do not twist or strain the powertrain/drivetrain mounts or damage to the mounts may occur.
Center the engine and transmission mounts to the center of the slots in the mount brackets.
- Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

NOTE: Rock the powertrain/drivetrain assembly forward and rearward to ensure the roll restrictor is not bound.
Tighten to 125 Nm (92 lb-ft).
- Install the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Test the system for normal operation.
