Disassembly And Assembly Of Subassemblies: Differential: Assembly

Inspect differential parts for damage or wear. Repair or replace as needed.
Install the differential ring gear onto the differential case.
Install the new differential ring gear bolts.
- Using the illustration, tighten to 85 Nm (63 lb-ft) in a star pattern.

NOTE: Make sure the differential impulse ring is fully seated and flush on the differential.

Using a 1500W heat gun, slightly heat the differential impulse ring. Install it onto the differential assembly.
NOTE: Take care not to damage the differential impulse ring.

Using the special tools, install the new differential bearings.
