Transaxle Case: Assembly

  1. NOTE: If a new differential gear bearing, transmission case, differential or clutch housing are installed, measure the differential shim for the correct size. For additional information, refer to DIFFERENTIAL SHIM SELECTION .

    Using the special tools, install the differential gear bearing cup.

  2. Install the new halfshaft seal on the special tools.

  3. Using the special tools, install the new halfshaft seal.
