DTC C1B00: Steering Angle Sensor: Description
While the ignition is ON and the voltage supply to the PSCM is above 10 volts, the PSCM monitors the steering sensor to determine the amount of steering assist required and adjusts steering efforts based on the inputs from the sensor. The steering angle value is transmitted from the PSCM to other modules over the (HS-CAN).
- DTC C1B00:2F (Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Erratic) - This DTC sets if the steering angle sensor signal is calculated to be outside the expected range.
- DTC C1B00:54 (Steering Angle Sensor: Missing Calibration) - If the initial steering angle sensor calibration is not carried out, DTC C1B00:54 sets in the PSCM.
- DTC C1B00:61 (Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Calculation Failure) - If the EPAS motor speed does not match the required speed for the current steering input, this DTC sets.
- DTC C1B00:62 (Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Compare Failure) - If the signals from the steering angle sensor and the steering shaft angle sensor within the EPAS column assembly do not match, DTC C1B00:62 sets.
- DTC C1B00:95 (Steering Angle Sensor: Incorrect Assembly) - If an invalid steering angle position is detected, DTC C1B00:95 sets in the PSCM.
