  3. W3 CHECK FOR RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
    • Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.

Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present?

  4. W4 RECHECK THE IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE - B (IPM-B) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
    • Using a scan tool, clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
    • Operate the system and test the system for normal operation.
    • Using a scan tool, repeat Image Processing Module - B (IPM-B) self-test.

    Is DTC U0155:87 still present?

    • Yes:  GO to W5
    • No:  The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
  5. W5 CHECK FOR BATTERY VOLTAGE OUT OF RANGE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
    • Using a scan tool, retrieve continuous memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from all modules.

Is DTC U3006:16 or U3006:17 set in the Image Processing Module - B (IPM-B)?

  6. W6 CHECK FOR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) U0155 IN OTHER MODULES
    • Using a scan tool, clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
